shop sand candlesMost candles come with a jar you'll throw away. ours comes in a bag. You pick the vessel — a thrifted glass, a shell, a bowl you love — pour, insert a wick, and light. When the wick burns down, you refill it. Nothing goes to landfill. that's the whole idea.
Step one
Pour into any vessel you love
Pour the sand wax into any heat-safe container. glass, ceramic, metal, stone — if it can handle fire, it works.
Step two
Insert the wick and trim to fit the vessel
Press the cotton wick straight into the centre of the wax. leave about 1cm poking above the surface. every purchase comes with a set of cotton wicks
Step three
Light and enjoy the glow
Light the wick and enjoy. want a scent? add a few drops of essential oil near the wick before lighting — you control the strength. the flame naturally self-extinguishes when tipped.
Step four
Lift. Compost. Repeat.
When the wick burns down, the wax re-solidifies into a thin disk. lift it out cleanly, compost it — it's fully biodegradable — pour fresh wax, and start again. the vessel stays forever.
