The Classic size includes 8 cotton wicks (15cm each) — each wick burns for approximately 45 hours, for 80+ hours of total burn time.

The Discovery size includes 6 shorter wicks — each wick burns for approximately 10 hours, for 45+ hours of total burn time.

Lift away the thin layer of solidified wax and used wick sitting on top. Both are vegan and biodegradable — safe to compost. Then pour fresh sand wax and start again.

You can turn almost anything into a candle, provided it is heat-resistant and non-flammable. We recommend wide opening glasswares, ceramic bowls, or concrete vessels. Make sure your container is at least 3 inches wide to keep the flame safely away from the edges.

Note: Avoid using thin glassware, plastic, or highly porous materials.

simply add a few drops of your favorite essential oils or candle-safe fragrance oils directly to the sand wax before you light it. Drop the oil in a circle just outside where you plan to place the wick. Avoid dropping oil directly onto the wick itself, as this can cause it to burn improperly.
